After the groupexhibition at the end of February 2024 together with Aukje Rammelt and Laura Krah wist ik even niet hoe opnieuw te beginnen. Gelukkig had ik een mooi boek gekregen over Ray Johnson for which I now had time to read and get lost in ( meer background info on my blog). A random remark in a footnote - which had me tumbling back into my past - inspired me to start writing haikus myself. From the end of March 2024 this became a new daily routine:: every day I made a haiku, in word and image. In March I only wrote two, on March 30 and 31st. April on Joss paper For May I used pages from an old book on Raoul Dufy ( this copy came from my grandparents'library in The Hague). After having travelled inTalinn and Helsinki I came home with an second-hand book in Estonian on Estonian artist, these became the June-pages.
